Hi! I'm Joan,
I'd like to tell you a little about myself.
My love of animals blossomed as a
child nearly 40 years ago when my
aunt owned a beautiful Cocker
Spaniel named Ginger. My first dog
was a Chihuhua named Mickey.
He was with me from 1966 to
1981. He went everywhere with
me. He had a long life and was a
wonderful companion.
Over the past 19 years I have been the mom of several cats, Sylvester, Frisky, Midnight, Lisa, Tux and Buster. Sylvester, Frisky, Midnight have passed on but they live in my heart.
I have been grooming dogs and cats since 2003 and opened my business in 2005. My training began in a local pet superstore and a local grooming salon. After grooming hundreds of dogs I founded and opened my own mobile pet salon, The Mutt Hutt. I have now realized a dream and have found that I have a true calling with working with dogs and cats.
The pet industry is expanding and changing with new and safer equipment and methods being introduced every year. I attend all of the major trade shows and seminars that my schedule allows so that I can continue to learn and develop new techniques to use in my business.
