The day after Katie joined our family, my step-daughter brought home a tiny Tuxedo kitten that she found on the street in Bellflower and asked "if she could keep it".  Of course... how can you not keep such a sweet little thing.  Trixie and Katie are estimated to be the same age and have become the best of friends.  Morning time is play time with them.  Trixie loves to be chased and Katie seems to love to chase around the house.  All of our pets get along with our new additions— so we are pleased with the outcome.

In June we finally adopted a new puppy.  Her name is Katie and she is a 3 month old Labrador Retriever Mix (we think it is mixed with Husky as she has a curly furry tail). 

We adopted her from Mutts and Moms Rescue and feel so fortunate to have found her as the rescue actually rescued her from a shelter in Bakersfield.  What were the chances of us actually finding her?  She travels with me in my mobile grooming van every day and personally says hi to all of my pet customers as well as their owners.  She loves everyone, is so friendly and has such a wonderful loving personality.
